Adding Collaborators to your Projects
If you are working on a joint project with another organisation or are using contractors that are also using Coreo you may wish to share your project with them and enable them to add, edit and extract data. Coreo facilitates this via our collaborators feature, allowing you to add other Coreo users to your projects with full control over their member role within that project.
Note: A collaborator will not take up an organisation seat and must be a paying Coreo user.
To add a collaborator to a project:
- Click your organisation name in the blue sidepanel, on your organisation homepage.

- Then open ‘Organisation Members’.

- From the ‘Organisation Members’ page, open the ‘Collaborators’ tab.

- Click ‘+ Invite Collaborators’ to add your first collaborator.

This will open a window similar to the one you would use to add new members to your organisation. You can add multiple collaborators at once.
- Copy and paste your collaborator’s email into the text box provided or type it out. If adding multiple collaborators separate each address using a comma.
Note: Ensure you provide the same email address used by your collaborator in their own Coreo organisation

- Once you’ve added all your collaborators, click the blue ‘Next’ button.

You will now be shown a list of your organisations projects, you can add your collaborators to multiple projects and set their role within those projects. To do so, locate the project(s) you wish to add your collaborator(s) to, then:
- Click the dropdown menu to the right of the project.

- Select the role you wish your collaborator to have for this project (for more information on roles read our user guide here)

Repeat this for all the projects you wish to add your collaborators to, when finished:
- Click the blue ‘Invite’ button.

After you have added your collaborators they will receive an email invitation. Until they accept this invitation they will be listed under the ‘Pending’ tab, in the organisation members page. You can remove them from this list, just as you would any other pending member.
When your invitee(s) accept your invitation they will be listed as collaborators and have access to your project dependent on the permissions granted by their project role.

Once you have added collaborators you can interact with them as you would any other organisation member. This includes removing them or adding them to new projects.
