Collaborate with other Coreo users
If you are working on projects with other organisations, or you use subcontractors, you can collaborate seamlessly with them using Coreo. A few points to bare in mind:
- Collaborators can be managed within your organisation essentially like any other user, meaning that you can grant them admin access to all of your projects or restrict them to the ability to submit data to just one.
- The Collaborator feature is a Professional Plus tier feature and both users must be on this tier for it to work. See our Pricing page for more information on the Professional Plus tier. If you need to upgrade your subscription see our Adjusting your Coreo subscription document for guidance.
- Since both organisations are already paying users collaborators do not count towards your organisation’s seat count. You can add collaborators from as many organisations as you need.
- To add a collaborator you must be an Admin of the organisation.
To add someone to your organisation, follow the steps below:
- Click your organisation name in the blue side panel on your organisation homepage.

- Then select ‘Organisation Members’.

- From the ‘Organisation Members’ page, open the ‘Collaborators’ tab.

- Click ‘+ Invite Collaborators’ to add your first collaborator.

This will open a window similar to the one you would use to add new members to your organisation. You can add multiple collaborators at once.
- Copy and paste your collaborator’s email address into the text box provided, or type it out. Make sure that the email address is the one they have used to create their Coreo account – check this with them first if you are unsure.
- If adding multiple collaborators separate each address using a comma.

- Once you’ve added all your collaborators, click ‘Next’.

You will now be shown a list of your organisation’s projects. You can add your collaborators to multiple projects and set their role within them accordingly.
- Click the dropdown menu to the right of the project.

- Select the role you wish your collaborator to have for this project (for more information on roles read our user guide here)

Repeat this for all the projects you wish to add your collaborators to, when finished:
- Click the ‘Invite’ button.

After you have added your collaborators they will receive an email invitation. Until they accept this invitation they will be listed under the ‘Pending’ tab, in the organisation members page. If you change your mind, you can remove them from this list, just as you would any other pending member.
When your invitee(s) accept your invitation they will be listed as collaborators and have access to your project based on the permissions granted by their project role.

Once you have added collaborators you can interact with them as you would any other organisation member. This includes removing them or adding them to new projects.
