UKHab and BNG Platform: Record Status Settings

As part of the UKHab survey you are able to give your baseline records a status. This is a feature useful for categorising your data and ensuring that your records are kept accurate. You are also able to customise your statuses, changing the text for each status and the colour assigned to that status via the Coreo Admin Area.

Assigning a Status Label to Records

Statuses can only be assigned to full UKHab Survey Baseline records, as such you need to be in the Baseline tab of the UKHab & BNG platform to assign a status. There are two areas from which you can assign status in the platform.

Assigning Status in the Baseline Tab

The easiest way to assign a status to a record is via the records list in the baseline tab. To assign a status to do so:

  • Locate the record in the records list to which you wish to assign a status.
  • Locate the ‘Status’ Column
  • From the status dropdown menu, select the status you wish to apply to your record

Assigning Status in the Record Detail View

You can also assign statuses from within the record detail view. This allows you to fully examine your record prior to giving it a status. To do so:

  • Click the blue ‘Details’ button in the row of your record
  • Within the record detail view click the status dropdown in the upper right hand corner.
  • Select the status you wish to apply.

The status dropdown is available on all pages within the record detail view.

Customising your Statuses

The UKHab survey (and any other survey) come with default statuses, these can however be changed and expanded. If you wish to make changes to your record statuses you will need to do so within the Coreo Admin Area.

For an explanation on how to do this see our guide on the subject here.
