Signing up to a Contributor project using a URL

A Contributor project is a special type of Coreo project which is intended for citizen science or other similar group-based projects.

A common way to join a Contributor project is with a URL (web link). If you have been given access to a Coreo project URL, this document will take you through how to sign up, step-by-step.

• From the mobile device you wish to use, click on the URL (e.g. find this in the email or document which you have been sent that contains the URL). An example URL is https://coreo.page.link/RmqTjZSkJGZ4p6ys8
• If you don’t have the Coreo app installed, you will be taken to the relevant app store to install it.

• If you don’t yet have a Coreo account, select the “No Account? Sign up” option highlighted below. If you do have an account, just sign in.

• If creating a new account, enter your email address (making sure it’s correct – you’ll be sent a confirmation email that you must use to activate your account).
• Next enter your full name and password.

• A verification email will be sent to your entered email address. Click on the link contained in that email to complete the process.
• The following screen should auto-complete as soon as you complete the step above, but if not, select the “I have verified my account” button.

• You’ll now be signed in, and the relevant project will be automatically installed for you. You’re now ready to start collecting data.
